Public services will now be provided on a one-stop basis on the basis of the AIFC Expat Centre for foreign IT-specialists

The Ministry of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan launched the receipt of public services for foreign IT specialists

State services for foreign IT-specialists will now be provided on the “one-stop-shop” principle on the basis of the MFCA Expat Center.

Minister of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry of Kazakhstan Bagdat Musin and Minister of Internal Affairs of Kazakhstan Marat Akhmetzhanov visited Expat Center of MFCA (ECM), where from now on IT-specialists arriving in Kazakhstan for a long term will be able to receive state services. Namely: getting an individual identification number (IIN), registration in the Mobile Citizens’ Base, issue of an electronic digital signature (EDS), registration of a legal entity, opening a bank account, registration of temporary residence, purchase of a Kazakhstani SIM-card, etc.

“Development of IT-industry is one of the priorities of our ministry. There are specific instructions of the President to develop effective measures to support domestic IT-specialists and to assist in attracting successful international IT-companies. Provision of services on the “one window” principle on the basis of MFCA Expat Center is aimed precisely at that,” said Bagdat Musin.

Employees of the CSC, second-tier banks, migration service and other specialists work in ECM. The advantage of ESM is in time saving, because the beneficiary will be able to go through all the procedures in one place.

Thanks to registration in the Mobile Citizen Base, a foreign IT specialist will be able to independently use the services of the e-Government portal and eGov mobile application.

A full list of services provided in ECM will be available on the platform
